Another brand with multiple teams in the WorldTour, Canyon supplies bikes to both Katusha and Movistar. This is the third year the Russian team has an association with the German bike company but it’s the first season that Katusha has used SRAM Red eTap. Click the photo of Tiago Machado’s bike (below) and you’ll see a few examples of a frame that’s created for electronic wiring… but the routing options are superfluous.

You’ll also notice that, because of the direct mount requirement for the front brake calliper, mechanics have interrupted the full ensemble by including a Shimano product for stopping up front.

This is part 10 of our online extras for the feature on products from the WorldTour.
