Official Tour Guide – Team Pages 2011

Each year since 2003, RIDE Media has published the Australian edition of the Official Tour de France Guide. The 2012 issue is on sale nationally from 15 June; the 292 page magazine includes information on every rider eligible to start the 99th Tour de France, as well as maps and profiles of every stage of the three week contest. There are interviews with the favourites, history about the event, insight from the likes of race director Christian Prudhomme and five-time champion Bernard Hinault. The magazine also features a giant pull-out poster of the route for the 2012 Tour – starting in Liège on 30 June and finishing in Paris on 22 July.
On the team pages you’ll find a synopsis of what we can expect from each squad in 2012 as well as commentary from Bernard Hinault. We also include a list of the full roster and examine their history in the Tour.
To give you some background to each squad, we have published a QR-code that sends readers to the equivalent page of the 2011 Official Tour Guide. These can be found on ridemedia.com.au, but here is a summary of these pages.
