Alex Morgan – photo diary (part 04)
We continue our series with Australia’s youngest elite world champion of 2013, Alex Morgan. Since his victory in the team pursuit in Minsk this March, the 18-year-old has hung up the track bike for a while while he focuses on the road instead. He’s a member of the Jayco-AIS World Tour Academy team (which, through the efforts of Caleb Ewan, has picked up a couple of wins in Europe this month) and Morgan is documenting his season with a photo diary that will be published (most) Fridays in 2013…
• Part 01 • Part 02 • Part 03 •
Here is his fourth instalment of photos and (brief) commentary…

“Bike cleaning time! I’ll take you through how I clean my bike…

“4. Give the cassette a scrub with a brush…”
“5. Give it another hose, then wipe down with a cloth. Nice and shiny after a good clean…”
“Making the most of some time on the train… Learning some Italian!”
