Bike test 02: RIDE 73 – Johnson Riddler AR
The second of the five test bikes in RIDE 74 is the Johnson Riddler AR. This is a stylish, aerodynamic road bike that features a direct-mount front brake, hidden rear brake (ie. off the seat stays and the caliper nestled down on the chainstays, behind the bottom bracket).
‘Johnson’ is a bike brand created by Ben Johnson. The former professional rider lives on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and he’s putting his design skills and knowledge of bikes to good use with a selection of boutique products – including the Johnson frames and Featherlight wheels.
The ‘Riddler’ was reviewed by new staff member, team pursuit world champion Luke Davison.
Here we present the online gallery of studio photos of the Johnson Riddler… a $9,899 bike built with SRAM Red (but available to customers with a range of groupset options).
