The Specialized bikes of the 2016 Astana team continue with a tradition we’ve come to expect from the Kazakh team’s association with the American brand: the frames are built with Campagnolo components and roll on Corima wheels.

At the Tour Down Under ‘Studio Sessions’, we took Lars Boom’s bike to photograph and measure.

The tall Dutchman has an interesting set-up to suit his height (191cm), including a drop from saddle to handlebars of 112mm.

The seatpost extends 260mm from the frame and this adds up to a saddle setback of 121mm.
