Lotto-Soudal has the choice of riding the Ridley Helium SL, Noah SL or Noah Fast in 2016. Thomas de Gendt feels most comfortable on his Helium SL but the more powerful rider Andre Greipel has sprinted to most of his 132 pro victories on various Noah models.

The Belgian team is one of three WorldTour squads to use Campagnolo and ride with its electronic shifting ensemble Super Record EPS almost exclusively. Lotto-Soudal races with Campagnolo wheels in both road racing and time trials.

The paint scheme on de Gendt’s Helium SL does not strictly align with Lotto-Soudal’s predominantly red, white and black strip but the climbing bike’s design is meant to represent contour lines on a map.
