RIDE #56 Caffeine Culture – Brisbane: River Loop Ride

River Loop

Departs from: Some of the largest bunches depart from Park Road in Milton on Wednesdays, but there are many points where riders can join and depart the loop as it meanders around town.

Distance: A complete loop is around 35km long, though it can easily be extended up to 40km with some slight variations.

Difficulty: All levels tackle the River Loop; there’s very little climbing and the traffic is minimal.

Notes: You’ll find good coffee throughout West End and South Bank. Montague St has a smattering, but it’s on Grey St where most cyclists congregate, particularly at either Espresso Garage or My Sweetopia.

Total distance: 30211 m
Max elevation: 61 m
Min elevation: 3 m
Total climbing: 365 m
Total descent: -364 m
