The morning after Paris-Roubaix. The dust is settling on the roads and being washed out of every crevice of those who were part of the race – or on hand to witness it – and reports are filtering. RIDE has a number of contributors in the north of France yesterday, including our ever-reliable regular photographers Yuzuru Sunada and Graham Watson.

This was a Classic edition filled with drama. And, as we work our way through the day, we’ll update this page with images and insight from Paris-Roubaix… first up: a remarkable photo from Yuzuru Sunada showing the moment when Greg Van Avermaet came crashing down, and then an image of the champion on the attack – Niki Terpstra enjoyed his finest hour on the road to Roubaix at the end of a showcase race for his Omega Pharma-Quickstep team.
