One of the long-term bike suppliers of one team in the WorldTour peloton is Lapierre. There is a long history between the brand and FDJ… it dates back to 2002 and the evolution of design has been significant in recent years. Last year, thanks to Thibaut Pinot, Lapierre boasted a podium place at the Tour de France (3rd overall) and the latest frames are impressive performers on all manner of terrain. RIDE reviewed the Lapierre Aircode 900 in issue 67, with glowing appraisals from all who rode it.

Featured here is the bike of former MTBer, Arnold Jeannesson. The Frenchman wore the white jersey in the first Tour de France he contested and we borrowed his bike for a studio session in January this year. It is part of our catalogue of WorldTour team bikes that you can find in RIDE #67 (on sale now).
