Tinkoff riders have the choice of either the Specialized Tarmac or Venge ViAS. Adam Blythe interchanges his depending on the parcours ahead: the Venge ViAS for the flat, the Tarmac for hillier races.
Tinkoff is racing with complete Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 ensembles and power meters from SRM. Most of its riders race with Look pedals which seems a little strange considering its affiliation to Shimano. Roval wheels and Specialized tyres are used by the team.
The paint scheme on the Venge ViAS is a fairly standard gloss black (except for Peter Sagan’s world championship design) but the team’s Tarmac is a combination of a stunning dull blue and bright yellow.
