In the under-23 Ronde van Vlaanderen this year, the Australian champion (and our cover star from RIDE #62) was racing for the win. In the sprint Caleb Ewan aimed for a gap that closed… and he ended up in the barricades. The race was won by Dylan Groenewegen of the Netherlands. Behind him there were bikes and bodies spread out across the road. RIDE spoke with Ewan about the incident… and the race itself. Here’s what he had to say…
