In one of the fastest pursuits ever ridden, the Australian team triumphed over Great Britain by over a second to win in 3:52.727 in London overnight. A fast start put the Aussies in a good position but a solid turn by Sir Bradley Wiggins in closing kilometre did put the home team in front… for just two laps.
