A rolling history of one of cycling’s most successful teams.
Professional cycling has changed enormously over the past two decades, and nowhere is that more obvious than the bikes. Since 2004, the team now known as Team Visma | Lease a Bike has raced under several names, partnered with some of the sport’s biggest manufacturers and ridden bikes that have helped define successive generations of road racing technology.
From the aluminium bikes of the early Rabobank era through to today’s Cervélo race bikes, this gallery follows the team’s equipment year by year. Along the way you’ll see the shift to carbon fibre, the arrival of electronic shifting, wider tyres, disc brakes, integrated cockpits and increasingly aerodynamic designs that have transformed the modern peloton.
