When he won the national championships, his team’s garment supplier Cuore already had a personalised green-and-yellow jersey prepared… just in case. Heinrich Haussler would win the road race. He will wear the green and gold jersey in 2015. And he would get a custom frame provide to him by his bike supplier, Scott. IAM Cycling has a tradition of having lovely custom-created bikes for riders on the team. ‘Heino’ is no exception. He gets a special-issue Scott Foil with green and gold – not yellow, as per the usual Australian team colours.
