Have you got the full collection? There are plenty of cycling fans in Australia who have never watched the Tour de France without their ‘Tour Guide’ by their side. This magazine is one of the most anticipated releases of the year, with a complete overview of the race route(s), listing of all the riders eligible to start, oodles of historic images, loads of cycling stories, and essential reading for anyone interested in the world’s biggest bike race(s).
In 2026 the Tour Guide will be published by Adventure Entertainment, the new owners of Ride Media, but the format remains the same. Make sure you take advantage of our FREE DELIVERY offer for pre-ordered copies: place your order through AE’s online shop and the magazine will be delivered to your door as soon as it comes off the press in June.
Discover the route of the men’s race (4-26 July) with a Grand Départ in Barcelona and the opening weekend contested in Spain before Le Tour returns to French soil for three more weeks of action with the biggest stars of cycling battling for the coveted yellow jersey.
Tadej Pogačar is aiming to join the club of five-time champions and with three sensational victories from his first three days of racing in 2026 the superstar from UAE Team Emirates seems on course to achieve it. Pogačar’s main rival, Jonas Vingegaard (winner in 2022 and 2023) is also expected to start. He’s the only rider who has been able to beat the Slovenian since his debut in 2020… and the Visma-Lease A Bike team will be keen to see the Dane return to the top step of the podium.
Up against these two previous Tour champions are a host of challengers. If all goes according to plan, we can expect to see the 19-year-old French sensation Paul Seixas make his debut. It’s early days in a developing career but the host nation is starting to believe that there could be a French winner for the first time since 1985.
Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift
Shortly after the men’s race finishes in Paris, it’ll be time for the second foreign Grand Départ of 2026, with the women’s race starting on the first day of August in Lausanne, Switzerland. Over nine days, nine stages, and 1,175 kilometres a peloton of 22 teams of seven riders each will race towards the finale in Nice on the French Riviera.
Pauline Ferrand-Prevot switched her focus from MTB competition back to road racing in 2025 and duly made her winning debut in the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. Rounding out the podium of the fourth edition of the reinvigorated women’s Tour were two former champions, Demi Vollering (the winner in 2023) and Kasia Niewiadoma (winner in 2024).
This trio are expected to line up again for what has rapidly become the blue ribband event in women’s road cycling.
The Tour Guide will give you the full preview of both races so make sure you’ve reserved your copy of Australia’s largest and most popular cycling magazine and get your pre-order in before 1 June and have it delivered for free.
