“I have a Look Aerolight 795. I chose this bike because it looks so special. It’s got a crazy design that is on par with the Look identity.
“Any other bike brand is cool but Look gives a fast impression. Its shape is great – everybody can recognise the unique Look shapes and I had to own one. I have enjoyed it thoroughly since I bought it.”
“Of course I like riding with Shimano. It is as good as it gets and fulfils this bike’s potential.
“I will buy the SRAM eTap soon because it is the latest and greatest and is a very cool product. It will make any servicing easier as well as make the bike look even better!
“I have never used SRAM eTap but, because I am a cycling journalist, I feel I should get a feel for all products – especially the newest. From what I’ve been told, eTap shifts very well although it’s hard to think that anything could feel better than the Shimano Dura-Ace electronic groupset!
“The Cinelli Neo Morphe handlebars are an older model but I have found them very comfortable. The shape is very nice. They look a little bit strange – like the bike – but they are very comfortable. I always like to use these bars if possible.
“There are special brakes on this bike that are supposed to improve aerodynamics. They work okay but they need a bit of skill when setting them up. The front is kind of like a V-brake and the rear is a direct-mount under the bottom bracket. Usually, there will be the same brake caliper on the front and the rear of the bike but this is different. It’s no problem but because they’re not the same, some people might have trouble setting them properly.”
“This Look is pretty new for me so would say I have probably only ridden it over about 4,000 kilometres.”
“I really like the look of the bike – it’s so cool! It’s also very fast thanks to the aero design. As I said, it ties in nicely with the rest of the Look family. The bikes are always a little different and is one of the reasons I like them so much.
“I can’t wait to fit the eTap to the bike to make it look even nicer.”
“The 795 Light has a standard rear brake and a post-mount front brake caliper. That makes a big difference in the bike. Because there is no brake bridge across the seatstays, I have found them to be very flexible. When putting out big power, I feel that they move a little.
“The 795 Light is stiffer in the rear triangle. If I am doing a road race the 795 Light is the best option, but I am no racer!
“I tried the 795 Light before I bought this Aerolight. At the time I knew I preferred it, but was given a good price on this frame and could not escape its appearance.”
